
2016 FESTIVAL
The 2016 GFF@UEA was the first-ever festival. The festival ran for four days between Saturday 30th April 2016, through to Friday 6th May. The festival opened with a Gala Event on the first day, and a day long Film and the Environment Symposium on the Friday, which concluded with a drinks reception. Three documentaries and one fiction film were featured throughout the four days with the festival being kicked off by guest Speaker Mark Kermode, who introduced Silent Running (1972).
