/ scholar born and raised in Pālolo Valley. Jamaica has a PhD in English (Hawaiian literature) and is an

Assistant Professor of Indigenous and Native Hawaiian Politics at the University of Hawaiʻi

at Mānoa. Jamaica is a three-time national poetry champion, poetry mentor and a published author.

The Migration Blanket - Climate Solidarity  (20 minutes) is story of how climate change is affecting women &

lives all over the world. This film features over 400 pieces of handmade artwork from 150

refugee and marginalised women in 17 mainly Commonwealth countries worldwide and

climate campaigners. 

Screened at the Venice Biennale 2022 and 2022 Commonwealth Games Festival sites.

Salma Zulfiqar BEM (British Empire Medal) is a multi-award winning Artist whose work has changed the lives of vulnerable and marginalised people and inspired students' studies around the world.  Salma's work has also been featured on BBC News, Voice of America, The Guardian UK, Euronews, Skynews and Yahoo. Salma  Zulfiqar received the British Empire Medal in King Charles
