An exciting opportunity for UEA Postgraduate students to attend a masterclass with Professor Toby Miller, a world leading scholar on culture and the environment.
Toby is Profesor Visitante at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Research Professor in the Graduate Division of the University of California, Riverside. He just concluded three years as Stuart Hall Profesor de Studios Culturales, Universidad Autonomy Metropolitana-Cuajimalpa, and was a Professor at the University of California, Riverside for a decade and New York University for twelve years.
Toby is the author and editor of over fifty books, and his work has been translated into Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Japanese, Turkish, German, Italian, Farsi, French, Urdu, and Swedish. His most recent and significant books on culture and the environment include A COVID Charter, a Better World (2021), The Persistence of Violence: Colombian Popular Culture (2020) How Green is Your Smartphone? (co-authored, 2020), Greenwashing Culture, (2018), Greenwashing Sport (2018), and Greening the Media (co-authored, 2012).
